Pre-Recorded Workshops

Can't wait to attend a live workshop?

We offer several pre-recorded workshops!

Mediators: Each workshop qualifies for 2 hours of CMEs (Continuing Mediator Education credits) toward your mediator re-certification in Virginia.

What? There's a Quiz?

Yes! We take mediator certification seriously, and we know you do, too.

With each pre-recorded workshop order, you will receive a link to the pre-recorded workshop and a short quiz will be attached.

But, don't worry! All the answers to each 10-question quiz are in the recorded workshop.

Simply watch the video, complete the quiz, and send your answers to WarriorMediator@gmail.com.

With a score of at least 70%, you will then receive your CME form (ADR1010) within 48 hours.

Your Brain (& Body) on Conflict

In this video-recorded workshop, you will explore how to deal with emotionally upset people using brain and body-based research.

  • Have you ever been unsuccessful at communicating with or calming an upset person?
  • Have you ever been at loss for words or effective strategies during a conflict?

This workshop uses basic principles of neuropsychology, somatic psychology, and mediation to present a model for understanding the behaviors of people who are emotionally upset.

You will also learn techniques to help you calm and connect with upset people (including yourself!).

MANAGING DIFFICULT CONVERSATIONS

Many of us have at least one “Difficult Conversation” that we are avoiding. And, we often dread having those conversations.

  • How would it be to have that Difficult Conversation and feel good about it?
  • What if, instead of fearing your difficult conversations, you could embrace them as opportunities to learn and grow?

This seminar offers insights and strategies for handling Difficult Conversations more effectively and with less stress.

You will explore and practice Brain, Body, Communication, and Mediation techniques for making Difficult Conversations less difficult.

You will also receive a step-by-step guideline for managing difficult conversations.

DEALING WITH DIFFICULT PEOPLE

This workshop offers activities that help create insight into why people seem difficult in the first place, plus it presents ways to remain calm, diffuse anger, and deal with strong personalities.

You will get to examine practical and useful communication and coping skills to deal with those difficult customers, employees, family members, neighbors, and door-to-door salespeople in a respectful and appropriate manner.

You will also explore, through various activities, how difficult people affect you personally, and how to minimize those effects.

For Conflict Resolution professionals: The skills in this course will help you handle difficult clients and become more self-aware so you can stay neutral.
